Mocality’s crowdsourcing visualisation by Stefan


Erik Hersman has a very nice piece on Mocality over at whiteafrican.com. Since we launched our crowdsourcing application, enabling anyone in Nairobi to get paid via M-Pesa to contribute to our database, we’ve been using an adapted version of FlowingData’s OpenStreetMap-based WalMart growth visualization tool to track how the crowd (and our ambassador team) are doing with adding businesses to the database.
