Theme: “Growing your Business in the Digital Age”
The Mocality Business Conference 2011 is finally here! And this time round we have pulled out all the stops to enable your business to expand both its potential and reach in Kenya’s growing digital market.
Coming hot off the heels of Mocality’s last conference in July 2011, our new focus is the business owner who is committed to staying ahead of new technologies and expanding his virtual presence with the aim of opening up new revenue streams.
This event, which was initially positioned as an opportunity to educate businesses on Mocality business tools, has transformed into a platform that allows business owners and key sector players to interact and exchange information under one roof.
We have invited key sector participants on board as sponsors and encouraged them to share with delegates on topics in line with this year’s theme, “Growing your Business in the Digital Age.” This may include them merging their products and services within the theme if necessary.
The Mocality Business Conference is a full day event and will be carried out in 6 key Mocality cities over a 2 week period.

- 30th of November at the Green Hills Hotel, Nyeri
- 3rd of December at the Traveller’s Beach Hotel, Mombasa
- 5th of December at the Merica Hotel, Nakuru
- 7th of December at the Sirikwa Hotel, Eldoret
- 9th of December at the Vic Hotel, Kisumu
The need to cover the theme, “Growing your Business in the Digital Age”, came about after we realized that quite a number of businesses have found it difficult to take full advantage of Kenya’s rapidly growing internet space.
With this in mind, we have broken this theme into different topics, and have invited speakers to come and share with the delegates. The chosen topics are:

I was at the conference in Mombasa and it was well organized professional, I enjoyed interacting with the representatives, they were friendly and understanding, I got to learn about alot of thing, they have expanded my knowledge, I will always attend any functions held by mocality or any other tech company in Kenya we need to educate people about being online and taking your business online and thats what mocality and their partiners are now doing, funny thing is that people in Mombasa don’t know alot about technology and internet is provided from Mombasa to the rest of the East African region for example the fiber optic cable it passes through Mombasa get distributed to the rest of the region, so we would love to see these conferences held frequently so that people can understand the benefits of technology in the current world and Kenya is first developing, I would incourage kenyans to take the advertages of safaricom cloud. You can also start an e-commerce business online if you have a shop or selling somethig, you can also drive traffic from sites like dealfish and its for free to post your ads. The conference in Mombasa was a success, it it up guys let us educate each other.
I attended the Mombasa conference and it was well interactive with the guest speakers whom expanded my knowledge of how full utilize the potential of e-marketing.
Well done guys it was a success and now its time for me to put the knowledge well learnt to practise.

For sure so many people dont understand what mocality is all about and when you tell somebody about technology he/she asks you what is that a benefit to me as a sells person?.
