Mocality – bigger, faster, better! by Imar

It is an exciting day at the Mocality headquarters: we are growing, improving and bursting with new features. We always appreciate any feedback from our users and we have heard your requests.
Email Registration:
One of the most frequently asked questions has always been “can we register by email?”. Yes we can! As of today, the 9th of February 2010, you will be able to register on Mocality using either your mobile number OR your email address. If you are already registered, don’t worry, you will be able to simply add your email address to your account.
Once you have signed in to your Mocality account and added your email address you can choose your preferred channel of communication from Mocality: SMS or email. This is just another reason why Mocality has become Kenya’s most user-friendly business directory.
Pimp my Search Engine
Have you ever watched that TV show where they start off with an ordinary car and build it into an incredibly smooth and powerful ride?
Well we just gave our Mocality Search engine the same treatment! We took the whole thing apart and rebuilt it using only original parts. Finding businesses and getting your business found has never been quicker. Take it for a spin yourself!
The Mocality mobile application
If you have never tried our Mocality (J2ME) mobile application, what are you waiting for? It is a nifty little program you can download for free and install on your cellphone. Once you have it, you can use Mocality straight from your phone without having to sign into the WAP site at all.
We have been hard at work, fine-tuning the inner workings of this app and ironing out any glitches for the latest version available tomorrow. Managing and messaging your contacts doesn’t get simpler than this, so get it while it’s hot!

If you already use the Mocality J2ME client on your phone, be sure to upgrade to the latest version by going to the “Settings” function on the menu and checking for an update.
The Mocality mobile app, now has a fast little brother
“This all sounds great,” you say, “but my phone is not the latest and greatest. Will Mocality work on my handset?” Well guess what: Mocality has just released a lightweight version of our fantastic J2ME mobile application. We call it Mocality Lite. Designed specially for older phones with limited memory and processing power, Mocality Lite is easy on your phone’s capabilities and easy on your pocket. That’s right, it uses even less data than its big brother and that means even lower costs from your mobile service provider!
